Pallet Trucks
Pallet trucks - the practical solution for all transport tasks in warehouses, logistics and operations
For all logistical transport tasks, such as the simple movement of pallets, the pallet truck has established itself alongside the forklift truck as a practical and versatile solution - it is now impossible to imagine warehouses, production and logistics without this industrial truck. The easy handling by means of a tiller handle as well as the excellent maneuverability contributed significantly to the success story of the classic lift truck. We at Staplerlift have also specialized in lift trucks as a flexible logistical transport solution and have different variants in our range.
Pallet truck
The manually operated pallet truck has proven itself millions of times over in many logistics applications around the world. This pallet truck variant, in which both lifting/lowering of the load and driving are performed by manual power, is available in various fork lengths/widths and for common payload ranges. In addition, this category includes special solutions such as stainless steel manual pallet jacks, mini and display pallet jacks, and all-terrain pallet jacks. Electric pallet truck
Electric pallet trucks are used in many logistics sectors for moving loads quickly with little effort, and are particularly suitable for high work intensity. High efficiency and productivity are achieved with this type of pallet truck despite a low effort, as an electric drive facilitates the work. In the case of semi-electric low-lift pallet trucks, driving is taken over by the electric motor; in the case of purely electrically operated pallet trucks, an electric lifting and lowering function is also integrated. Find the right semi-electric or all-electric pallet truck from Staplerlift for you, depending on the area of use!
Weighing pallet truck
As a flexible solution for various weighing tasks, a weighing pallet truck is used in many companies. If required, the load can be weighed directly on the forks of the pallet truck without being tied to permanently installed weighing equipment. As a useful industrial truck, a pallet truck with scales thus enables time-saving recording of product and pallet weights in accordance with the respective conditions in the operating area concerned. Regardless of whether it is products that can be poured and shoveled or large-volume individual products - a weighing pallet truck can be used almost anywhere for weight recording and weight control. In our category weighing pallet truck you will find suitable product solutions from Staplerlift.
Scissor lift truck
If you need an ergonomic working height when handling goods on pallets, the ideal solution is to use a scissor lift truck. This makes many small work steps, such as counting during order picking or the precise inspection of incoming goods, much easier without the physical strain of constant bending. Scissor lift trucks are available from Staplerlift in both manual and electric versions - depending on the work intensity and utilization of the device.

What to consider when buying a lift truck?
Due to the wide range of possible uses and certain operational requirements, important points must be taken into account when deciding to purchase a lift truck. Investments in logistics equipment, such as industrial trucks, should always be made under sustainable aspects for the optimal performance and efficiency of the respective operating area.
Loads
The main consideration when deciding on a pallet jack model is the load capacity - this essentially defines the future application possibilities. For low payloads, such as displays in stationary sales, a display pallet jack is the best choice. Our pallet truck models cover a load range from 1000 to 2500 kg - depending on whether mainly light pallets or, for example, heavier mesh pallets are to be transported. In general, it is important to pay attention to the maximum load capacity in every usage situation in order to avoid damage to the transport device and hazards for employees.
Fork lengths and fork widths
Even though Euro pallets and Euro mesh boxes have predominated in logistics, certain industries often require alternative load carriers. For example, a pallet truck with a fork length of 800 mm is the right choice for half pallets or short one-way pallets. However, if long pallets are often transported within the plant, pallet trucks with long forks are the preferred choice. In some cases, attention is also paid to the fork width, which must be taken into account for the transport of certain loads.
Drive variants
The choice of drive variant for a lift truck depends to a large extent on the work intensity in operational use. While an electric travel drive makes it much easier for the operator to use when coping with longer internal transport routes, a fully electric lift truck is often the optimum transport solution in truck loading of an outgoing goods area, for example, due to the high frequency of pallet pickup and delivery. In both cases, however, the charging capacity of the integrated batteries must be taken into account. Continuous operation in three shifts often requires the possibility of a removable battery to be able to replace an empty traction battery with a battery when needed. Also not to be forgotten is the need for a fixed charging station for industrial trucks or a charging location for batteries in a separate room.Material properties
In most cases, the areas of application of pallet trucks are concentrated in the interior areas of warehouses, production and logistics, which is why a robust design made of steel is sufficient in enclosed operating facilities. In addition, common steel low-lift pallet trucks often have a powder coating, which means that this type of pallet truck can generally also be used outdoors and is still corrosion-resistant. In some industries, such as the food industry, special hygiene regulations often govern the use of industrial trucks. In order to comply with the current EN 1672 and EN 1672-2 regulations, the lift truck must be made of stainless steel and equipped with a special hydraulic oil.
Wheels and rollers
The choice of wheels and rollers is also a decisive criterion for optimum driving conditions taking into account certain requirements. Nylon wheels and castors are mainly used for lift trucks in the food sector due to their hardness and abrasion resistance. Polyurethane (PU) casters have proven themselves in practice for transporting loads on hard and sensitive, as well as on uneven floors. If, on the other hand, low-noise operation during nighttime use and special floor adhesion in damp conditions are required outdoors, lift trucks with wheels and rollers made of solid rubber are to be preferred.

Special applications
In addition to conventional logistical use in internal transport, goods picking and goods issue, there are lift truck models specially adapted to the requirements for certain special applications. The Mini pallet jack and the Display pallet jack from Staplerlift have been designed for moving displays and pallets in often tight stationary retail environments. Those who need to move pallets on uneven and loose surfaces usually resort to an all-terrain pallet truck with pneumatic tires.
Safety and Maintenance Instructions for Lift Trucks
To ensure that your lift truck is available at all times as a durable and safe transport device for logistical use, certain safety and maintenance instructions must be observed:
